About

Survival Bunker is about making your home a little harder to knock over.

Not bunkers in the back garden, and not the end of the world. Power cuts, storms, frozen pipes, empty shelves and price shocks: the ordinary ups and downs of modern life, which hit harder when you haven't thought about them.

We try to do three things:

• Show what's happening now, with live power cuts and prices from official open data.
• Give plain, honest numbers, like what a power station will actually run, or what a solar panel will actually save.
• Point you to kit that earns its place, and say clearly when we earn from a link.

Prepared, not paranoid.
